Smile

Sometimes life brings us a bad day or a bad week, sometimes even a bad month. What you have to remember is that life still goes on. At the end of the day you still have plenty of years to mess up; this is just the start. You will learn from your mistakes and mishaps and one day act due to this.
But until those happier days turn up, we have to take comfort in our friends and know that they're always there for us when times get tough. And yes, maybe taking comfort includes being totally silly and giddy, but isn't that how you achieve a happier life?
Sometimes we have to forget about all life. Work, school or home life. Whatever it is that's stressing you out, you just need to forget, ring up your best friends and randomly go out. Whether this includes skipping around Clumber, having a lovely party or just a girly night in. It's worth it and also you get a lot of silly photos! A little like these ones...

Best friends (definition)- A best friend is not only someone you have a good time with, it is also someone you believe you can trust your life with. A best friend is the first person you call when the most amazing things happen in your life, and when the most horrific incidents happen. A best friend is the person you will always remember no matter what comes about.

So never leave your friends behind and always stick up for them. We all need a friend from time to time to make us smile! xoxo

Money makes the world go round....

For this fashion related post i have decided to have a look at money. It is very true that money makes the world go round and for women, that is a problem world over! There are many things that i find wrong with the fashion industry and one of them is the prices that we pay for sometimes just down right cheap clothing. Is it unreasonable for me to want to want to buy a top for £8? I understand that £12 on a top or £20 quid for a good pair of jeans is okay on its own but when you need just a little bit of a boost and would really like two new tops you end up becoming more depressed about the fact that you can't afford to buy your boost! Why is it that Topshop can price a sleeveless crop top at £40 when you could wrap a few newspapers around you and have a catwalk look for free?! And why is it that people think that this is okay? Once you start to buy the odd top for £20 or those jeans at £35 suddenly that £85 dress just seems normal. Where does all our sense go? When does so much money become a small insignificant amount? I understand that i am in the minority here and that Poppy is probably reading this thinking '£85 is not that much!' but to me, a person who gets a good amount of money each month to fund my social life, i don't want to be spending all my money on one piece of clothing. 13 year olds can't have that much money can they, do their parents buy it for them? The questions are endless, am i speaking the truth or am i a small prawn who has just got to que up in order to be eaten by the big fish of fashion??

Holiday wear.

Easter is just around the corner and so my family and I are going on holiday to Rosedale. We go just about every year- I guess we're just drawn in by the village. But the reason I like it and the reason the rest of my family like it are very different! They love it for the daily walks (yes- daily) which I don't mind, but where do you get to dress up during a walk? I love it for the scenery and the fact that I can just feel at home. It fits in with romantic view on life perfectly! So when the Easter Holidays get here I'm off on my holiday, but I need a new dress! Dilemma...I have no money. Oh no. I went shopping yesterday with a few friends and went to the cinema, to see the Woman in Black, which was amazingly creepy! Whilst shopping, I tried on a gorgeous dress from Republic. I don't normally venture into Republic, or at least haven't for years, but I'm really glad I did because I tried on a really nice dress, but regrettably didn't buy it. Thank goodness for the Internet! So my holiday outfits won't suffer apart from those days that I go walking... well ya know what they say. Every day's not a catwalk- I completely disagree!!! xoxo

Nailed it!

The other night we all went round to Emma's house for a girly night! I won't bore you with all the girly details (you can see those at The Red Flower) as I've already blogged about them! I am going to share another nail post though. I absolutely adore painting my nails, but feel like crying when it starts ruining my nails and making them flake. So during our girly night in, I decided my nails just had to be painted, but couldn't for the life of me- Emma's favourite saying of the moment- decide which colour. It had to be all or nothing...I chose all! Literally, my nails are multi-coloured. Ten different colours for ten different nails! Have you nailed your nails yet? xoxo

D.I.Y Photo album

Ok for my birthday my best friend made me an amazing photo album that contained so many memories of things that have happened and that will happen. I bet your asking yourself "How has she done that, is she some sort of crystal ball reader??". No she isn't, sadly, she just left the back part of the book free for me to fill in with new memories. Which was really sweet (or lazy <3 only joking I LOVE IT SOOO MUCH). Anyway I thought that I would let you guys reading how to make one. They're quite easy to make but I thought that I would show you anyway.

1. First you find/buy/make an empty album book.

2. Collect scissors, glue and a few gel pens.

3. Now find some pictures that you have lying around that you are meaning to put in picture frames but haven't got round to it yet.

4. Next glue them into position into the album on the page you want and draw borders, swirls and shapes around them to fill up the pages.

5. Finally, add a few meaningful sayings in the book here and there that mean something to you and your done.

 Happy designing xxxx

Turban beauties...

Showing that we look good in turbans too!

Me and Emma....our love for shoes over took us!

I know my last post wasn't exactly fashion related, but it was very nessecary! Anyway, I thought I'd get back on track by letting you know another aspect of my life (which won't be a suprise to anyone) I love to shop! Shopping is one of my favourite things to do, but I must say I hate spending money all at the same time- it's a hard life! Eli, Emma and I have been shopping together more times than I can count and everytime we take lots and lots of photos to represent our great day out- that and the fact that I insisit- we'll always regret it if we don't! You need photos to look back on! Eli made Emma a gorgeous photo book of her and friends for her birthday and so needed a lot of photos (that's where I came in...I knew it was worth taking pictures) it looked really good too! There were pictures all through their life together because they've known each other forever! I'm essentially a new comer! But, none of you could see these pictures of our shopping experiences and so I thought I'd share a few! They aren't all the greatest pictures in the world, but the whole idea is to show how much fun we have shopping. I am obsessed! Enjoy...

Eli, Emma and myself looking fabulous in gorgeous dresses!

Eli, Emma and me smiling, but actually thinking how cold we were!

Pattened trousers

Fashion posts, hmmm, what do i write about. Much thought is going into this post as i am trying my hardest to get into the spirit of fashion, broaden my horizens blah blah blah and i have come up with an idea highly pattened trousers.
Photo 1 of Dogtooth Metallic Cigarette Trousers
Simply nasty
Cruising through the topshop website the other day i found something, or should i say an army of things, diabolical. The not so humble pattened trousers. I have to admitt that it was a bit of a shock to see shiny rasberry gingham print croped trousers for sale. I am truly begginig to think that world has gone mad, seriously do these look good on anyone? The answer is no. These trousers are abominable and should be inflicted on no-one, not even Rihanna or Beyonce could pull them off (although im sure they would try). What was the world thinking, rope print, metalic snake print, garden print, all names of trousers that gaurentee to make your bum look big and cause blindness in other people. I even saw a trouser suit in tropical leaf print! Honestly world get a grip, we do not have time to waste on decisions about whether our new fish print trousers go with our magnolia bush headscarf.

Sweet 16 !!

Poppy will kill me for posting this but I just wanted to say that it was my 16th birthday on Saturday and I wanted to thank everyone for coming and celebrating with me. It was one of the best days of my life so...
x x x THANKYOU x x x
