Who are we?

Have you ever sat down and wondered what got you there? What bizarre happening in the world made you reach this very point in your life? We've all had our ups and downs in life, some more than others, but is it evidently our fault? I know that a lot of people believe in karma and fate- and I have to say that I'm one of them- but can fate be the cause of our actions? And does it even travel into our lifestyle, more so, into our clothes? I've always dressed the way I dress for different reasons. Originally, because I was put into those cute little dresses and dolly shoes that I learnt to despise, then I could dress myself and obviously I went for the Tom boyish jeans and a t-shirt with maybe a cute pink cardigan for added irony. But now? I find myself wearing a mix of the two. I still like creating irony in my fashion choices because I think it gives me a back story, so now I'm more likely to fall back onto the cute dresses, but I still like to keep it edgy of course with a pair of leather ankle boots and messy backcombed hair. Maybe I've never consciously chosen to wear certain clothes based on where I am in my life, but I definitely dress depending on my mood. And let me tell you, it's very rare now that I wake up and feel like I must put on some jeans. I guess parents do know best after all.
